January, 2012

ACLSG members/guests

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are less than 1 month until the ACL Study Group meeting (Sun, Feb 12th – Thurs, Feb 16th) at the Hotel Terra in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, USA.

The final program is attached.

Our block of rooms at the Hotel Terra are filled. We have been able to secure additional rooms at the Teton Mountain Lodge which is a short walk from the Hotel Terra with rooms similar to the Terra Guest Room at a rate of $ 249.00 USD per night. If you have not already made your room reservations, you are strongly encouraged to do this as soon as possible.

Jackson Hole is served by an airport. The Hotel Terra is an approximately 40 minute drive. See attached “Helpful Information”

Our 2012 program is going to exciting. Mark Clatworthy and his Program Committee are finalizing the program. Be prepared to defend your concepts. Reminder – this group is familiar with all aspects of the ACL. Make your presentation concise and on time (5 minutes); this will allow more time for discussion.

During our first business meeting, we will ask for recommendations for the location of our next meeting in 2014. Should you have an interest in hosting our 2014 meeting (ideally a warm climate), please come prepared to make a short 5 minute presentation. Typically we have between 100-120 attendees (excluding spouses/children) attend the meeting. Ample meeting room space would be necessary.

There are many activities available especially for our free day, Wednesday, February 15th (attached). If you are interested in any of these activities, you should contact the phone number listed on the flyer directly (there will be no organized group activity other than our reception and banquet). The hotel has strongly encouraged an early reservation for many of these activities.

Please be sure to contact our Program Coordinator, Ms. Cheri Baumann, if you have any questions.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Sincerely,

John A. Bergfeld, MD
Executive Director
