Biography:

Dr. Kevin D. Plancher, a world-renowned orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine expert with extensive knowledge and board certification in knee, shoulder, elbow, and hand injuries specializes in minimally invasive procedures of the knee (partial/total knee replacement, ACL reconstruction and meniscal repair) and shoulder (rotator cuff and dislocation treatment). He developed a Center for Regenerative Medicine utilizing growth factors to treat cartilage and tendon injuries of all joints for return to sports. Dr. Plancher is a Clinical Professor, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center and an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University in New York. About The ACL Study Group

The ACL study group was organized 25 years ago by a small group of orthopedic surgeons with a common interest in the anterior cruciate ligament. Today, Dr. John Bergfeld organizes this large international study group that meets every 2 years to exchange information in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
